Here at St Mary's Day Nursery, all of our food is cooked on site and fresh in the nursery kitchen by our nursery cook.

All of the staff are equipped with relevant food hygeinge qualifications and are trained on the childrens allergies and intolerances and we are able to cater for all special diets.

Where possible we try to use home grown ingredients such as the herbs and vegetables that the children grow in the garden and we ensure all of our meals are healthy and nutritious.

The children are provided with a snack in the morning, a hot meal and pudding at lunchtime and then a tea in the afternoon. Weekly menus are displayed in our enterance hall with a list of allergens for our parents to read.

We also have a nursery recipe book available containing all the childrens favourite dinners available for parents to try at home.
